Featured Artist: Yoko D’Holbachie

I’m absolutely in LOVE with this artist. For three reasons.

1. Lisa Frank colors anyone?
2. Cute cute CUTE monster things.
3. Very simple theme focused on a central character.

The colors and instant cuteness draw you in to a piece that should be adorning school-folders and backpacks. But looking closer, Yoko’s more adult themes pop out at you. Nude body parts, oozing tentacles, etc. She just makes me so giddy. OH the juxtaposition!

You can see her work here www.dholbachie.com
She even did her own version of Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss”. Cuuuute!
