So this was the sketch.
This is an idea for a general color scheme. Is night okay? Do any colors need to be changed? I’d really appreciate any feedback!

Yoshitaka Amano has been one of my favorite artists for a long time. His dynamic, wispy, elegant style is very recognizable in the Japanese market. He is best known for his concept work on the Final Fantasy game series and the show Vampire Hunter D. He mostly works in pen and watercolor, but also does a lot with printmaking.

I met Peter Mohrbacher at the Dragon Con art show last year. He had a booth with a lot of really impressive digital work. My friends stopped and talked with him for a while. If I remember correctly he did some work on Magic: The Gathering cards. And what made it even more impressive was that he wasn’t very long out of college and was already making a name for himself. :)
You can see some of his most recent stuff at: www.vandalhigh.com

This is the beginning stage of a gift for a dear friend. She gave me most of the oils and brushes I use so I’m determined to make her something detailed and beautiful. A lot of love is going into this one.
